  “PROVERBS” — The Dunrovin Summer Senior High Getaway #86 will take place this coming Thursday, August the 4th, through Sunday, August the 7th. Young people who have a space reserved on this retreat are kindly reminded that we will meet here at 6:00 p.m. this coming Thursday — August the 4th in the upper church parking lot ~ between the Church and the Convent ~ to car pool out. This retreat concludes next Sunday — August the 7th at 2:30 p.m. — so we should be back here at the Church of Saint Patrick by 3:15 p.m. Thanks for remembering all of our young people in your prayers this summer, including all of those who will be taking part in this Senior High Retreat

  Thank you for your prayers on behalf of all of our young people who are participating in the Senior High Getaway #86 “PROVERBS” this weekend, out at the Christian Brothers Retreat Center. The retreat concludes later today at 2:30 p.m. so, depending on traffic, all of our Senior High students who are taking part should be back here at Saint Patrick between 3:15 and 3:30 this Sunday afternoon, August the 7th.

  The need is constant. The gratification is instant. Our Church of Saint Patrick will be hosting our fourth Blood Drive of this year through the North Central Blood Services of the American Red Cross on Monday, August 22nd from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. downstairs in the Church Hall. Donors who have not donated whole blood after June 27, 2016 would be eligible. Please mark your calendar now and consider participating in this important cause. Did you know that every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood and more than 41,000 blood donations are needed every day? Your generous gift of blood can help save several lives! To donate blood you must be 17 years of age or older (donors age 16 may donate with parental consent) must weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health.
