  As part of a Community Caring for Life our Church of Saint Patrick ~ 1085 DeSoto Street in Saint Paul ~ will be partnering with the North Central Blood Services of the American Red Cross to host our third blood drive of the year tomorrow, Monday, June the 22nd from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. downstairs here in the Church Hall. Donors who have not donated whole blood after April 27, 2015 would be eligible. To donate blood you must be 17 years of age or older (donors age 16 may donate with parental consent) must weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health. To schedule an appointment or if you have questions, please call Tom Nordgren at 651 774-8675. Or, if you prefer, you can schedule an appointment online by going to www.redcrossblood.org and entering sponsor code 7012.

Young people who have a space reserved on this retreat are kindly reminded that we will meet here at 6:00 p.m. this coming Friday — June the 26th in the upper church parking lot ~ between the Church and the Convent ~ to car pool out. This retreat concludes next Sunday, June the 28th at 3:00 p.m. which should put the kids back here at church by 3:45 p.m. Thanks for remembering all of our young people in your prayers this Summer — especially those who will be taking part in the Summer Retreat this coming weekend.

In doing so, we join Pope Francis and one billion Catholic brothers and sisters in acting to share God’s love in the world. Thank you very much for your generosity!
